How to do Y2K Makeup
To create a Y2K makeup look, you will need the following:
- Primer
- Foundation
- Concealer
- Blush
- Highlighter
- Brow Pencil
- Eye shadow
- Glitters
- Mascara
- False Lashes
- Lip liner
- Shiny Lip Gloss
Before you get started you need to know the following tip.
Do not overdo your skincare routine.
Each product should be completely absorbed before moving on.
Select items with a fine texture.
Step 1: Apply Primer
It blends well with any makeup. Apply primer to your skin. Primers help the foundation blend and stick to the skin.
Step 2: Apply Foundation and Concealer
The most effective way to do Y2K makeup and any other makeup is to apply foundation and concealer after you have applied a primer all over your face.
Step 3: Apply a blush
One of the early 2000s cosmetics was pastel pink blush. Blush was synonymous with the past generation. You can try another color of blush, but pastel pink blush is a good choice for Y2K makeup.
Step 4: Apply highlighter
To achieve a radiant appearance, a highlighter should be included in your makeup for Y2K makeup.

Step 6: Apply eye shadow
This is where all the fun of Y2K makeup is. To fit into the modern aesthetic, try out another shade other than baby blue or pastel pink eye shadow. IT girls are currently wearing green. Choose a color that complements your makeup and the occasion. If you can’t choose go with the typical pastel colors. Try being creative by applying different layers and colors of eye shadow.
